Representatives from each of the five Housing Associations delivering the project, representatives from Improving Health, Increasing Employment (IHIE), National Housing Federation (NHF), Learning Skills Council (LSC), Job Centre Plus (JCP) and Next Steps.
This group is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the Open Door prototype and meets regularly to ensure that the operation and delivery is consistent across the areas covered by the Open Door prototype.
The group provides a forum for sharing information, intelligence and ideas about the delivery of Open Door; generates practical suggestions for improving performance, delivery and quality of contracted provision, though the group will not be a decision making body and advises on the nature and style of communication to the providers in the community.
Sub-regional strategies are also linked so that customers living in any on the areas can utilise their services of any member of the cluster to advance their career or progress into work.
Through the Strategic Group we aim to encourage and facilitate productive networking and the spreading of good practice across partners and/or providers, supporting front line staff and agreed delivery plans and ensuring coordination of activity.
We are always looking to establish new links with relevant service providers, so please contact Jasone Andonegui-Richards at Black Country Housing Group in the first instance if you would like to know more.
